Report Writing from 4th class
Below is a sample of Report writing from our 4th class pupils on the athlete Usain Bolt.
The Legend – Usain Bolt
Usain Bolt was born in Jamaica on August 21st in 1986 and now is a legend at sprinting. Usain Bolt was noticed in high school as a brilliant runner. He went on to the high school championships where he won a medal in 2001. Then he went into 2002 World Junior Championships where he won the 200-meter dash. Usain also has other hobbies such as cricket and soccer but decided to focus on running after winning the 200 meter dash where he got a new nickname “Lightning Bolt”.
Like everyone Usain Bolt had to go through a lot of challenges. One of them was just before the 2012 Olympic Games. Bolt lost to Yohan Blake, Bolt’s rival but also a friend. Another challenge was a nagging hamstring injury, when Bolt was chosen for the Jamaican Olympic squad in 2004, Bolt was eliminated in the first race in the 200 meter because of his hamstring injury.
At the start Bolt was pretty laid back because he once hid in a van before the 200m final but he just said who cares? Now Bolt is very focused, confident and always there for his winning race.
Bolt has won a lot of competitions and made Olympic history, he won 4 Olympic gold medals and he was the first man in history to set three world records in a single Olympic competition. He also won 2 silver medals in the World Championships in Osaka Japan.
Usain Bolt is and always will be Olympic world record holder.

USAIN BOLT REPORT
Usain Bolt was born on the 21st of August 1986. He was an excellent cricket player and he surprised his school coaches with his outstanding speed. With his phenomenal speed he began to mainly focus on sprinting. His first coach was Pablo McNeil, who was a former Olympic sprinter. At the age of 15, Usain won the 200 metre dash, making him the youngest junior gold medallist in history. He also got the nickname “Lightning Bolt” in school.
Usain Bolt has a loyalty to Manchester United and would like to join the team once his sprinting career is over. He is also a great cricket player and might start playing if he doesn’t get into the soccer team.
Usain Bolt has lots of competitors like Yohan Blake, Nesta Carter and Michael Frater who are also very fast sprinters. Usain Bolt sometimes gets injured and that gives his rivals a better chance of beating him, but since he is a very fast runner, he is also a challenge to his rivals.
Usain Bolt has set many world records for sprinting and those world records have been beaten by no one except for himself. He is also very good at defending his titles even if he is injured!
Even though Usain Bolt is a very famous sprinter, he does have a laid back attitude. For example, if you ask him a question he will reply in a very short sentence. He even sometimes stops a few moments away from the finish line to celebrate.
Did you know that Usain Bolt was the first person in history to win the 100 and 200 metre sprint in one Olympic games? He also won the 100 and 200 metre relay with his Jamaican teammates Yohan Blake, Nesta Carter and Michael Frater.
Now Usain is 28 and I hope he stays the fastest sprinter in the world to the end of his career.
