Every year the pupils of Lisnagry celebrate World Book Day. Children come to school dressed up as their favourite character from a story. Everyone puts in a great effort! We had a great time celebrating World Book Day! and everyone looks forward to Assembly when we have a World Book Fashion Parade across the stage!

The day focuses on activities based on books: book reviews, developing character profiles, reading to other classes, creating alternative titles, finding out about a particular author, etc.
Also, the Scholastic book fair held in January was a wonderful successful thanks to your support and we have over €2000 worth of new books for our classroom libraries.
