What a breathtaking show we had in the U.L at the 2017 Peace Proms!

Congratulations to the boys and girls from our 5th and 6th class choir who performed  last Sunday night under the leadership of Ms. Bourke  and Ms. Blake.Well done to all involved, as a lot of hard work and learning of new material was involved. We are very proud of you!

For more than two decades now, the Cross Border Orchestra of Ireland has been using the beautiful medium of music to bring together young people from all parts of Ireland, both North and South.A fabulous evening was enjoyed by all as spectators were treated to a wide variety of songs, dance , music and even characters from Star Wars!! Masterminded by charismatic conductor Greg Beardsell, there was something in this extravaganza for everyone. We were entertained by all-Ireland champion Uilleann Piper Cormac Keegan; blown away by power-house vocalists Zena Donnelly and Lauren Murphy; dazzled by local virtuoso rock-violinist Patricia Treacy, and captivated by tenor Eoin Hynes.
