The weather was overcast but at least the rain stayed away on Sunday morning last as students and parents from Lisnagry N.S set off on their sponsored walk.
Everyone who took part really enjoyed the walk itself, as it was a great way to get out as a group and enjoy the morning exercise.
On arrival back at the school, there was some light refreshments for everyone. Great praise is due to our Parents Association for their excellent organisation of the event and to all our cyclists and marshals who ensured everyone got home safe. Thanks also to the parents and relatives who came out and joined us on the day. We are very grateful too to all those who supported us financially by sponsoring the children for this event. All funds go towards our new computers and I.C.T resources. Well done to all concerned!
Once the last few sponsorship cards are returned we are going to have our raffle with a signed Munster rugby jersey and Limerick Senior hurling jersey up for grabs!
